Allow me to introduce myself. I am Donald Vormelker, co-owner of Clear Reflections Windshield Repair, the Owner, my L-rd, has allowed me to run this to best of my ability and I give all to Him each and everyday. Next is the C.F.O., or Chief Family Organizer, my wife, Gina. We have been married since May 3rd, 1998. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and thank G-d for bringing her into my life to help me be more centered. The reason we do what we do is our three children, Simeon born January 2001, and our surprise twins, Seth and Samuel, born November 2003. They were a surprise, because we were going for one. We felt the L-rd led us to home school, so being self-employed helps us greatly as we both take part in the schooling. Mama does the majority of the teaching, and because she doesn’t like math, I am the math teacher.
In 2004, after having seeking the L-rd for a new avenue for employment, He brought to us an old friend I hadn’t seen in years. I was currently working as a vendor in the Home Depots and was very tired of this dead end job. We invited our friends over to discuss the purchase of her husband’s company, touch up paint on bumpers in used car lots. That night, the wife informed us that she too had decided to sell her business…Clear Reflections Windshield Repair. After they left we decided to pray about the purchase of her business. Gina told me to put out a fleece, like Gideon had done in the Old Covenant. So I did, and I told no one what it was. Our friends had offered to sell the business for $2,500.00. My fleece had been that if this is the avenue G-d had wanted us to take, that He would have our friends lower the price by $500.00. The next day I called the wife to ask more questions. She responded by letting me know that she and her husband had decided to lower the price $500.00 because we were friends. Praise the L-rd, the prayer was answered within 24 hours. Isn’t Our G-d an amazing G-d?
Well, when I had informed my wife of the answer so quick, she said to me, “well, I want to be apart of this too.” So I then told her she needed to put out a fleece as well. She could not come up with anything. While I was in prayer at work one morning I felt the L-rd had given me what her fleece was to be. I called her and told her I had the fleece. She asked me, “What is it?” I told her she needed to pray and have G-d reveal it to her, and then tell me. I am so sorry that I can not remember what that second fleece is today, but as you can plainly see, HE answered that prayer two weeks later! So there you have it in a nutshell…sort of.
Why closed on Saturdays? We are Sabbath keepers in honor of our Creator and Savior, Jesus. As stated in the Scriptures, we areclosed from sundown on Fridays to sundown Saturday.BTW – In June of 2009, we added on an additional business you may find useful if you like to travel. What is windshield repair?
